Tips & Tricks

The key to effortless application is all about utilising your tools

  • Hold each lash segment at the tip and sweep upwards when applying, for a seamless glide from applicator the the bond at the root of the lash line
  • The beauty of being your own lash technician means that you can customise as and when you like! If your eyes are smaller or you're not keen on a full lash look, simply use less segments. Conversely, if your eyes are a big feature point there is nothing to stop you lash stacking/doubling up segments to create more of an impact.
  • If you experience any irritation when you have finished applying your LashMe extensions you have probably applied them too close to the waterline! Before you apply your seal to lock lashes into place, re-adjust with your tweezer and place 1-2mm away from the waterline.
  • Clean your application tool between uses to keep it free from adhesives as this can negatively affect lash application. (Our favourite quick clean method for this is using an alcohol wipe in between use).

The key to long-lasting lashes is in the aftercare!

  • If your lashes aren't lasting, try out foolproof double bond method. Apply LashMe bond to the root of your natural lashes, as well as the spine of your LashMe segments for the ultimate hold!
  • Another tip to enhance LashMe retention is double sealing your lashes. After application, apply your LashMe seal to the base of your lash extensions, then also rub your LashMe seal along the curved tip of the applicator before you pinch & secure
  • Avoid sleeping on your face as this creates pulling/tension on the eyelashes, negatively affecting the longevity of the bond
  • We recommend avoiding oil based products around the eyes when wearing LashMe extensions, as this can weaken the adhesive. Also avoid touching lashes habitually, as natural oils from the fingers can be transferred to the eyes and affect bond longevity
  • Remember less in more with our super-strong, yet gentle LashMe bond! You only need to dab or apply sparingly to the root of the natural lashes- no need to brush like a mascara; however, if you accidentally get adhesive on the skin, dab our LashMe remover serum on a cotton bud & wipe the area to remove easily
